Faiencerie de Niderviller
Founded in 1735, the Faeincerie was bought in 1748 by Baron de Beyerle who created luxurious earthenware for dignitaries of the church, aristocracy and rich bourgeoise. Later the Comte de Custine took over the faeiencerie, but was guillotined during the French Revolution. Fortunately, the company was saved from being sold as national property, and traditions of classical and traditional savoir faire are maintained and reflected in contemporary creations
